A Message of Thanks from Jessica*

To the incredible supporters of Pop In,

I want to say thank you — not just for your donation, but for the hope and safety it has brought into my life.

When I first came to Pop In, I was in crisis. I had just left an abusive relationship, I had a newborn baby in my arms, and I didn’t know where to turn. It was through Pop In that I found the practical help and emotional support I so desperately needed — from navigating the court system and understanding legal documents, to accessing safe housing and financial assistance, to simply having someone listen and stand by me.

Your generosity means more than you may ever realise. Because of you, I didn’t have to walk this path alone. You helped me feel seen, supported, and empowered to rebuild a life for myself and my child — a life that is safer, stronger, and filled with possibility.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of my journey.

With gratitude,
Jessica

A message of thanks from Pop In

Jessica has now been engaged with Pop In for 14 months and continues to receive support. While her journey has been long, she is no longer walking it in fear.

She now has financial security, safe housing, and a growing sense of confidence in navigating legal and parenting matters. Most importantly, she is rebuilding her life on her own terms, free from violence.

Jessica’s story is one of resilience, courage, and the power of community support. Through Pop In, women like Jessica are not just surviving—they are finding hope, reclaiming independence, and creating safer futures for themselves and their children.

Thank you for your support today. Your generosity makes a tangible difference in the lives of the more than 250 women and children who turn to Pop In each year in their time of need.

As a 100% community-funded organisation, every act of support allows us to respond with flexibility, compassion, and without restriction — meeting women and children where they are, and walking alongside them for as long as needed.

It is only because of people like you that this work is possible. On behalf of our team and the women and children we serve, thank you for being part of our community of care.
